Taste of the North End Returns to Boston on April 28, 2017
Since 1993, restaurants in the Boston's North End join forces each year for a food festival that benefit North End charities at Taste of the North End. This year's event will be held on April 28 at the DCR's Steriti Memorial Rink.
Guests will be able to taste food from smaller North End businesses that normally don't participate in food festivals.

This chef and this porchetta tower was everything ..
The porchetta was from Filippo Ristorante, and they will be participating this year as well.
Taste of the North End is predominantly filled with Italian restaurants, but you'll find other cuisines represented too, like these fresh clams from Neptune Oyster!
Braised veal cheeks with rosemary guava, boniato puree, spiced corn relish from Aragosta Bar and Bistro.
Of course, there were plenty of wines and beers to go around. What's an Italian party without some Sangiovese?
Other participating restaurants this year include Il Molo, Artu, Modern Pastry, Mike Pastry, Strega, Ward 8, and many more. Unlike major food festivals, to me Taste of the North End feels like a true gathering of the community!
You can buy tickets for $79 until April 17 or $99 until April 27 here. Tickets will be $125 a the door. Proceeds will benefit North End Waterfront Health.
