Summer Cookout at Element Boston Seaport Hotel
I recently had a staycation at the Element Boston Seaport hotel and had a summer cookout with friends. No, really, the Element hotel rooms are equipped with a kitchen and their patio has a grill that guests are welcome to use, as well, making it easy for both short or longer-term guests to "eat in" while they're staying here.

Yes, we cooked this at a hotel |

Element has rooms and suites, both of which are equipped with kitchenettes.

I stayed in a queen suite, with a good-sized living room.

The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc, including pans and utensils, chopping board, and even salt and pepper.

The showers have rainfall showerheads.

The Seaport location has a nice outdoor seating area with a grill and cornhole games. There was a family with small children who were enjoying playing when we were down there grilling.

There was plenty of outdoor seating.

The staff would set up the grill and bring out all the necessary utensils for you. For our dinner, I enlisted the help of my friend The Chilly Chili, who's way better at cooking than I am. She prepared salmon filet and garlic toast for the grill! It was simple and delicious, especially with a bottle of rose wines enjoyed outdoors.

The hotel patio was a great place to have this summer cookout and enjoy the warm weather! With so much outdoor seating, it's great if you're staying at the hotel with a large group and want a space for everyone to enjoy dinner together without worrying about reservations.
There's free breakfast in the lobby in the morning, which included hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, breakfast sandwiches) as well as fruits, cereal, yogurt, and the likes. There's one of the automated latte machines and orange juice.

I took my breakfast back out on the patio - because the short summers in Boston need to be savored.

Element hotels are great for extended traveling with their kitchen-equipped rooms, and their social areas are nice to have for both business and leisure travelers.
