Los Angeles Coffee Festival Recap
Last month I recently attended the first Los Angeles Coffee Festival in downtown LA. The festival combines coffee, tea, cocktails, coffee wares, and art. There were coffee and cappuccino samples from various companies like Bluestone Lane Coffee, Verve, Klatch, Intelligentsia, Counter Culture, and more.
In addition to coffee, I tried a couple of chai brands and tea. There was also a session for making espresso martinis with Grey Goose vodka and Mr. Black coffee liqueur.
There were also some retailers such as Beto's Coffee Company selling good made from upcycled coffee related material. I particularly loved these shoes made with coffee bean burlap bags.
A company selling insulated coffee mugs and bottles had a "tree" going asking attendees to hang their coffee cups from the coffee samples on, to show how much waste we generate with disposable cups!
There was also a section of art that's related to coffee. I love this Friends artwork made with coffee beans!
Since I was there on the last day until the end of the festival, I scored some stuff from Califia! They were giving out wha they had left of their bottled cold brew coffees!
