Not sure yet if I will go to this, but for Christmas day itself, I am opting for one of the cheaper options. Gino Angelini's La Terza is offering a 3-course menu for $40 from 3pm-8pm.
Here's the menu:

pecorino cheese and saba dressing
or
Lentil soup
~~~~~~~
Second Course
Chicken cappelleti in capon broth
or
Grilled salmon with sauteed spinach
or
Brasato al Barolo
Braised beef short ribs marinated in barolo wine with polenta
~~~~~~~
Dessert
Ricotta Frittelline
Ricotta fritters with chocolate sauce and pears
or
Torta della Nonna
Pinenut tart with vanilla bean gelato
Coffee, tea and soda included

Christmas dinner at Providance looks so good. But I don't have that kind of budget to go.... ~>_<~

Wow! Are you going to go? I can't wait to see all those pics of dishes if you happen to choose this over La Terza. Looking at the menu for La Terza, it sounds fabulous.

Well, Providence is on Christmas eve while La Terza is on Christmas day itself, so we can potentially do both! ;)

I'm not sure abt the Providence yet tho *broke* *broke*
But I'm 90% going to La Terza!
