A new season means new menu and new cocktails at Sadie. Summer was the season for strawberries and cocktails like the Pink Rose (lillet rose, lemon juice, strawberry syrup, GH mumm cordon rouge - $13)
Gio Martinez' summer menu featured cocktails like the Sandy Swizzle (pineapple and sage infused chivas regal, agave, lemon juice, whipped coconut cream, Smith and Cross float, $12)
There was also this gorgeous Charred Bone Marrow with peppadew peppers, leek ash, citrus chive vinaigrette, and of course, toasted bread

The spicy tequila cocktail here was not your typical jalapeno margarita but a Guayabera made with lemongrass and basil infused Avion tequila, watermelon syrup, lime juice, soda, chili salt rime - $10
The chili salt rim was good but pretty spicy! I was kind of glad they only rimmed half the glass so I could cool down between sips.
I also took the chance to try other cocktails from the main menu that I haven't before, like the Friar Fresh (Plymouth gin, velvet falernum, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, honey - $12)
The "sassy" dessert section at Sadie thankfully always remains and is not to be missed. You'll see floats with Peychaud ice cream and the likes here. Since conbon has never been here, we had to get her a Chartreuse ice cream and Bubble Up Float ($8). I always have a hard time which of the three floats to get, but the Chartreuse never disappoints!
