My first cocktail was fun, refreshing, and absolutely perfect for the summer: Maestro's Special Fizz (Capri Natura Limoncello, lemon sorbet, fresh mint and prosecco - $14)
The first taste made me expect spiciness (but it isn't), thanks to the combination of the smoky mezcal with the absinthe. The cucumber and absinthe works well together and the result is both surprising and delicious.
Joe Brooke also introduced us to my new favorite after dinner drink. Dobb's ($12) is simple, a combination with Fernet Branca and creme de menthe, yet we really loved it. Who knew?
