Tuesday Wing Nite at Delphine (Hollywood)

Dining at the W Hotel in Hollywood doesn't have to be stuffy. Now you can eat with your fingers after that Pantages show with Delphine's Tuesday Wing Nite.

Fried chicken wings with spiced honey

All night on Tuesdays, you can get an order of chicken wings for just $4.50 (4-5 wings per order) and choose from a variety of flavors, not just your usual spicy buffalo wings or fried chicken wings, although naturally they have those also.

Among my favorites was the grilled chicken wings with Honey Sriracha sauce, sweet and spicy! Don't forget to lick your fingers after.

Another favorite was the Thai red curry. Talk about adding an ethnic kick to western comfort food.

There are crispy fried chicken with spiced honey sauce that you can't get enough of, and BBQ wings with green chili sauce. Since this is LA, there's also the obligate fried wings with truffled cheese.

Throw some veggies into your meal with $3 sides including cole slaw, beans, and potato salad.

There are also two drink specials, the Early Tea cocktail ($6) and Honey Bee ($7) cocktail. The Early Tea, made with sweet tea vodka, is dangerously easy to drink.

If you're finishing off with dessert, consider the profiteroles or the Chilled Apple Risotto. Sometimes profiteroles disappoint me when the puff pastry isn't up to snuff, but I enjoyed the ones here. The chilled apple risotto dessert is both unusual and delicious with apple-flavored risotto topped with caramelized apples and salted caramel ice cream.
